Magic Berry

Magic Berry is a simple tool that lets you manage data stored in BlackBerry backup files. It supports both formats of BlackBerry backup files: IPD and BBB. This handy application displays and lets you edit SMS messages, phone call history (call logs), contacts and their details, calendar entries, etc.

Even backed up media files like PNG, JPG, MP3 can be detected, viewed, and extracted. A really nice feature of this application is its ability to export textual data into TXT and CSV files. I also very much like its very simple and intuitive interface. Though it cannot be customized and it looks a bit dull, it is easy to use and neat, making this application suitable for any category of users, including beginners. Last but not least, this powerful utility can split IPD backup files and merge two IPD files into one single larger file. It also lets you edit service books.

The MagicBerry interface is very simple. To access the data of an IPD file you simply open it (File > Open) and all the information from that IPD appears in the right-hand column. You can then inspect each piece of data, or Export All to a CSV or text file. This is the perfect solution for someone who wants to back up your SMS messages or other data from your blackberry and save it in a readable format.
